⭐ weather.com by therealdjelite » mon apr 20, 2020 9:07 pm dvo wrote Most instructions for weather skins (including on the forums) suggest going to the main weather.com site, searching for a location, and grabbing a section of the resulting url from the browser's address bar to use for the location code. Mon apr 20, 2020 8:55 pm easy just copy paste the folder and rename it to something else you can find the folder @ c:\users\yourusername\documents\rainmeter\skins\ and if you want have it in the same folder just create a folder in that folder and put the ini in a new.
Where to find location codes It appears that sometime over the last several days, weather.com has made a change to their weather codes By bluenite » tue may 17, 2016 2:14 pm
Feeling proud of myself that it worked, i went to sleep happy that the weather was once again on my screen and the job was done.
Note that in new weather skins, at least the ones using weather.com as data provider, you don't have to set the location but the geographical coordinates Namely you have to set the geographical latitude and longitude of the point you'd like to get the weather information for. I just saw my skin won't show any weather information Is there any replacement yet
As you may be aware, the free and open version of the api service wxdata that is used in many if not most weather skins in rainmeter is currently, and probably permanently, down This means that you are here because your weather skin has stopped working, and you want to know what you can do First and foremost, it probably won't do much good to post a thread on the forums saying my weather. Mon aug 24, 2020 2:29 pm yes, i have seen this as well
I just noticed it recently If you have a location that has at least one alert, and then on the next update all alerts are gone, the severity codes will retain their previous numeric. Many skins are using weather.com and they rely on the api key which sometimes gets changed Many modern weather skins will have a weathercomjsonvariables.inc file or a separate skin with settings where you can change the api key.
