No leaks from the hoses, and there's some fluid in the reservoir Unless you mean pouring coolant in there makes it dump into the reservoir and then out onto the ground? I screw the coolant bolt according to the specs, and it seems to leak from the bottom of the air bleeder screw base
I have a photo with arrows pointing at the base of the screw because that's where it's leaking from Fill the radiator from the cap on the top of the radiator Please, if anyone knows anything, it would help.
Fixing the coolant leak issue
I posted a while back about my e model dripping coolant from around the water pump housing It's gotten worse and now the coolant drains out at a pretty alarming rate So i guess it's time to fix it I know what's involved in fixing it, but i'm wondering what the consensus is on the proper fix for the issue.
Hello i noticed today i had some coolant leaking through the gaskets I did check around to see if maybe its a coolant hose leak or something above but i did not find anything Im using green 50/50 mix Down here in florida it got down to 28 over night
My drz is kept in.
My buddy dropped off his drz400sm because the oil and coolant are mixing This is what he has says he has done New head gasket new oem water pump kit i was looking online and the drz has 2 freeze plugs in the head so i figured to look there Well i have had the cooling system pumped up.
For a coolant change on the drz you would have to of loosened the coolant drain bolt on the rear brake side of the bike near the water pump This drains the coolant from the motor Some flushing with distilled water should also occur to rinse the passages After this is done you can take your premixed or mix your own fluid, place the water pump bolt back in and start filling
So on the drz, the tank under the airbox isn't actually a reservoir
When the engine is cold, there should not be any coolant in that tank
